The Last Resort on the River is a small and quiet RV park on the Blanco River off Highway 84 between Chama, New Mexico and Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We have 23 full hook-up sites, 6 partial riverside sites for smaller units with electric & water only, and tent sites that sit on the river. Our end goal is to have cabins but they are not a reality yet. Firewood is available for purchase as are shower tokens for showers. The Bath House has separate men’s & women’s showers/restrooms. We do have a washer and dryer in the Bathhouse.
Unfortunately our plans for cabins has been put on hold indefinitely. All we will have for a while will be the Toyhauler that has been renovated into a cute cozy place to stay. It has a queen size bed and two twin mattresses in the loft.
We know that many folks require access to cell service or WiFi. We just put in NEW WiFi!!! It reaches over most of the park. Due to the number of spaces, the different types of phones and the various phone providers, the bandwidth may still not meet your needs at certain times. As you head towards Pagosa Springs about five miles you can pick up better cell service. While at the park, you will need to set you phone to WiFi calling to make calls and text. Certain streaming is not available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. so working campers can use the internet. We hope our WiFi fills your needs.
The Last Resort is now under proud new ownership! We are excited to have made a few changes in this beautiful park to make it ours. We are busy making improvements to make your experience even more relaxing and fun. The natural beauty of the park that we all love will stay the same, we’re just trimming a few trees and bushes. We have completed all but a couple of the improvements projects.
